"...they may well change the head but a Leopard can't change its spots..." said the Leader of the State Opposition, Daniel Andrews, who visited Bendigo today in one of his many trips to the region. Mr Andrews made this comment in response to questions regards the debacle surrounding the ousting of Ted Baillieu as Premier of Victoria by his Liberal Party colleagues.

“Mr Napthine may well have toppled Mr Baillieu in the leadership battle, but this conservative Government’s policies are still the same – and those policies attack regional and rural Victoria”.

During Mr Andrews’s visit to Bendigo he caught up with nurses, paramedics and teachers outside the Bendigo Hospital; the Bendigo Spirit Women’s Basketball team; and took lunch in the Marketplace.
